The Action Group (TAG) Foundation exists to help people improve their own health and economic well-being globally. We believe these two foundations, restored at the community scale, unlock progress on many of the world's hardest problems.
Born in the field, founded on paper in 2026.
TAG didn't begin as a foundation. It began as working technologists volunteering their skills: since 2023, members of what became TAG's founding network — IT fellowship members and global tech innovators — have delivered AI, robotics, and cybersecurity training in the United States, India, and Africa.
In 2026, we formalized that work as The Action Group Foundation: a North Carolina nonprofit built on a simple conviction — that a person's potential should never be limited by their access to care, technology, or economic opportunity. The foundation adds what volunteer energy alone can't: grant funding, governance, and accountable public reporting.
At TAG, we don't just envision a better future. We take the action required to build it.
What makes TAG different?
Our Model
Skills, not just signatures
Our network of working IT professionals serves inside programs — as trainers, mentors, curriculum advisors, and technical volunteers. Every funded dollar is multiplied by donated expertise.
Partner delivery
We fund and coordinate specialist community organizations rather than duplicating them — lower overhead, deeper local legitimacy, faster reach.
Direct results and network results are reported separately. Flagship programs launch with public targets and sponsor reporting from day one.
